We are a Florida couple (Dan is originally from New York and Elizabeth is from Illinois) that moved from the west coast of the state to Key Largo, Florida April 2017 (just in time for hurricane Irma) to pursue our dream of fishing and diving the Florida Keys. What we found out however, is there is a lot to learn about tackle, species, regulations, weather, and location in the Keys as things are much different here than on the Gulf side of Florida where we came from.
